Well this will be a stretch without WITS. but that would be because a) I forgot to bring the wips with me and so I can't work on the pages I had started on until I get my comp back. b) I have a job c) contests and commissions are keeping me artistically occupied aswell.

I present to you archimedes in the bath noticing how water rose (essentially lots of blah blah blah foundation of fluid mechanics... ewwww physics) and yeah so there you have it! enjoy!
the lightbulb is incredibly anachronistic, though that was on purpose... as an easy way to portray that he was coming up with some novel idea... not the lightbulb though... but the lightbulb is a symbol for new idea
I like the swirl on the knee, it's cute. So basically he's just now discovering that water rises in a bathtub?

..And then, whoever invented the light bulb, whilst inventing it, was reminded of Archimedes who upon foundation of the fluid mechanics had an image appearing above his head that inspired toward his creation of what we would recognize today as the light bulb. EPIC.

swirls are so much fun X3
I'm glad the style is original. The client wasn't really an anime/manga lover.
